site in the western half of the Caribbean for the endangered

Tortuguero is one of the wilderness areas with the greatest
biological variety in Costa Rica. Its 11 habitats have 2,000
plant species of plants and 400 tree species, along with:

and snook on the Caribbean. Our all-inclusive fishing
packages feature Captain Eddie Brown,
considered by many the world’s best tarpon fisherman.
From Pachira Lodge, anglers will go with Eddie on the
Bull Shark up the coast to Barra del Colorado, one of
the world’s top spots for tarpon, and fish the
pools and lagoons of Tortuguero for snook and guapote
(the feisty sea bass).
