The Copacabana Hotel & Suites is located on the beach in the heart of Play Jaco, just one and a half hours drive from San Jose Airport and is central to many attractions on the Pacific coast. Our knowledgeable front desk staff can easily arrange a day trip to any one of Costa Rica’s attractions or tours. Arrange a day tip to Manuel Antonio National Park, or visit an Active Volcano the Caves or Hot Springs. Carara Biological Reserve is only 25 minutes away. Watch crocodile and caiman basing on the nearby riverbanks, or spend the day deep-sea fishing. Visit banana and coffee plantations, or the artisan centers to admire the wooden handicrafts and sculptures Costa Rica is famous for. All your tours plans can be arranged at the front desk.

We are located just a short l block walk to the center of town Jaco pronounced (haah-KO) Where you will find many shops and craft stores gyms, spa, discos, casino and many fine restaurants. Cars, bicycles and scooters can be rented.

The Copacabana’s open-air ocean front terrace is a favorite place to hang out or enjoy the casual to fine dining atmosphere. We are proud to offer our guests a full menu daily. We are well known for our signature dinners of Sesame Seared Turn and Garlic Mahi-Mahi, or try our Lobster Dish prepared just the way you like by “Copa’s” famous chef’s.

Enjoy from sunrise, food service begins at 7:00 am. offering a full breakfast to a late night dinner. Our wine cellar stock’s a full selection of wine, to compliment any meal.

For you’re after dinner entertainment, sit and listen or dance to our frequently featured live music on the open-air terrace. Join in on one of our open jam sessions, so remember to bring your instruments if you play. You will thoroughly enjoy the overall ambience of our resort; it’s simply just plain fun.

Pool Side Bar: Take in the game, order food and just relax by the pool. The poolside bar is also another great place to hang out. Take a cool refreshing dip in our swim-up to the bar pool. Catch a great tan and order a refreshing drink at the same time. This is the bar to enjoy our big BBQ nights, watch the big screen satellite TV. Play a game of cards or just read your favorite holiday book.

Terrace Beach Bar: A favorite hot spot in Jaco, Nightly gatherings take place on our terrace beach bar, order a cocktail before or after dinner, or order a delicious appetizer and stay all night. The friendly staff is ready to serve you, they are all extremely knowledgeable on what to see and do while in Costa Rica, so pull up a stool and join in.

We are pleased to offer you luxury accommodations. Our newly renovated Studio’s are beautifully appointed, with just the right décor. Sleeps 2 with Queen or twin beds available, hot water shower/bathroom with separate vanity for your convenience.

All Studios’ are air conditioned, with cable TV. Coffee maker, microwave and mini bar/fridge for your comfort.

View our beautiful gardens from the custom designed bay window. Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony, just outside your door.

One-Bedroom Ocean Front Suites, Sleeps 3 to 4

Our one-bedroom ocean front suites are always in demand. Your home away from home, the Suites can offer you a sunrise to sunset view like no other. Walk into a full bathroom with hot water shower/tub.

A spacious bedroom with amble closest space, comfortable queen or twin sized beds.

Double doors separate the bedroom for the combination living and kitchen room. These units come fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, 4 burner stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, and flatware for your cooking convenience.

Sofa opens up into a double bed, cable TV. Central air-conditioned. Sliding glass doors open onto your private balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. Standard and Jr. Suites may be requested prior to renovations next year into additional Studio’s, ask for our discounted rates.
