Beach Resort is a small luxurious resort with an extra touch in style,
comfort and service. All rooms have a/c, cable TV, telephone, coffee
maker, safe box, hair dryer, overhead fan, hot water and great ocean
view. Suites include living room, refrigerator and jacuzzi. An excellent
location with an extensive variety of services, including: sportfishing,
snorkeling trips, kayaks, adventure tours, scuba diving, spa, mini gym
and mountain bikes. Food and beverage service at all pools and on the
beach.
Accommodations consist of 59 deluxe rooms and 5 VIP suites. All rooms
have air conditioning, one king or two queen beds, ceiling fan, hair
dryer, coffee maker, TV cable (40 channels), and telephone. Each has
its own terrace overlooking the blue Pacific, where you can enjoy room
service from El Ocotal's gourmet restaurant menu.

 The
original 12 rooms are located in six duplex bungalows stepped into
the hillside down to the water's edge. Two additional wings of rooms
are set into a cliff above the sea with dramatic views of the entire
Papagayo Gulf. This area has its own Jacuzzi and swimming pool.
A wing of eight rooms and two suites is located right on the sand
of Ocotal beach, with another swimming pool and a tennis court just
a few steps away.
The lobby and restaurant, perched atop a knoll surrounded by water on three
sides and with El Ocotal's third swimming pool below, is regarded as
one of Costa Rica's most picturesque spots.
Ocotal is a calm, sandy beach about 1/3 mile in length, and ideal for
swimming and beach activities. Although many guests visit Ocotal for
its world class sport fishing and exciting scuba diving, activities
such as tennis, horseback riding and water skiing are also available.
Ocotal is the perfect place to just relax and enjoy the quiet easy-going
pace of this secluded area.
 Conveniently
located and easily accessible by paved highways, El Ocotal is only two
miles from the fishing village and vacation center of Playas del Coco.
El Ocotal's restaurant and bar serve an international menu specializing
in fresh seafood, while the bar offers tropical cocktails, a varied
wine list and both local and imported spirits ... and yes, the tap water
is safe to drink.
Ocotal's bilingual staff is eager to show their frindly Costa Rican
