Day 1/ Arrive in San José, where you will be picked up by a private, A/C van and taken to the Hotel Barceló Rincón del Valle or similar hotel where you will stay the night (tonight’s dinner not included).

Day 2/ Leave on an early morning departure from San José to Tortuguero National Park. This segment includes roundtrip transportation from San José to Mawamba Lodge by van, and return by air, a drive through the Braulio Carillo Rainforest, two nights at Mawamba, meals, tours with a bi-lingual guide, and all taxes. Not included is the $6.00 per person entrance fee to the Tortuguero National Park, bottled drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Day 3/ Enjoy the Jungles of Tortuguero

Day 4/ Early morning flight from Tortuguero to San José, where you will then leave by van, beginning your 3 day/2 night tour that will take you to the summit of the Poas Volcano, the Tabacon Hot Springs whose waters are heated by the Arenal Volcano. You will overnight this evening and tomorrow night at the Eco-Lodge at Lago Coter, with all meals, transportation, tours, park entrance fees and taxes included.

Day 5/ Immerse yourself in the nature of the Arenal area and the cloud forests that abound in the area - take a trip down the Bebedero River and through the Palo Verde National Park before returning to the Eco-Lodge for the evening.

Day 6/ After an exciting morning Canopy Tour, you will return to San José by way of Sarchi, the home of many of the country’s artisans, staying tonight at the Hotel Barceló Rincón del Valle or similar hotel (tonight’s dinner not included).

Day 7/ Van transfer to the airport for your international flight home * This great package includes all lodging, meals (except dinner two nights in San José), tours, transportation, some park fees, transfers and all taxes.
