Day 1/ On your arrival in San Jose, a private A/C van will pick you up at the airport and take you to the Hotel Grano de Oro (or similar hotel - dinner not included) where you will stay the night.

Day 2/ Early morning pickup at your hotel for a two-day/one night whitewater-rafting safari through the lush rainforests and jungles in the Caribbean plains. This segment features one night at the Pacuare Lodge, and a scenic drive through the Braulio Carillo Rainfores, transportation from San Jose, white water rafting and meals (excluding dinner on day 3).

Day 3/ Early morning Canopy Tour, followed by an exciting day of whitewater rafting and travel by bus to the Suerre Hotel in Guapiles, where you will stay the night (dinner not included).

Day 4/ In the dawn hours, a van will be ready to take you for breakfast, then continuing by van, then boat, to Tortuguero National Park. This segment includes two nights at Mawamba Lodge, meals, and tours accompanied by bi-lingual guides. Not included is the $6.00 per person entrance fee to Tortuguero National Park, bottled drinks, and alcoholic beverages.

Day 5/ Explore the jungles of Tortuguero by boat through lush canals, and on foot through meandering paths.

Day 6/ Following an early morning flight from Tortuguero to San Jose, a van will be at your disposal for a two-day/one night tour that will take you to the Tabacon Hot Springs. Whose mineral pools and hot springs are heated from the Arenal Volcano itself. Stay overnight at the Hotel Montana del Fuego, all meals, transportation and park entrance fees included.

Day 7/ This segment includes a full day tour of the Cano Negro Wildlife Reserve. Tour the Cano Negro Wildlife Reserve Tour, then drive back to the hot springs for a swim and dinner before returning to San Jose late in the evening, staying tonight at the Hotel Grano de Oro or similar hotel (dinner not included).

Day 8/ Van transfer to the airport for your flight home.

* This great package includes all lodging, meals (except dinner two nights in San Jose and dinner in Guapilies), tours, transportation, some park fees, transfers and all taxes. N.B.: Single occupancy cannot be guaranteed at the Pacuare Lodge.
