Day 1/ On your arrival in San Jose, a private A/C van will pick you up at the airport and take you to the Hotel Grano de Oro (or similar hotel - dinner not included) where you will say the night.

Day 2/ Early morning pickup at your hotel for a two day/one night whitewater rafting safari through the lush rainforests and jungles on the Caribbean slope. This segment features a drive through the Braulio Carillo Rainforest, one night at the Pacuare Lodge, and includes transportation from San Jose and meals (excluding dinner on day 3).

Day 3/ Early morning Canopy Tour, followed by an exciting day of whitewater rafting and travel by bus to the Suerre Hotel in Guapiles, where you will stay the night (dinner not included).

Day 4/ In the dawn hours, a van will be ready to take you for breakfast and then on to Guapiles, from where you will continue by van and boat Tortuguero National Park. This segment features two nights at Mawamba Lodge, meals, and tours accompanied by bi-lingual guides. Not included is the $6.00 per person entrance fee to Tortuguero National Park, bottled drinks and alcoholic beverages.   

Day 5/ Explore the jungles of Tortuguero by boat through the canals, and on foot through meandering paths.

Day 6/  After your early morning flight from Tortuguero to San Jose, you will commence by van on a fabulous three day/two night trip that will take you to the summit of Poas Volcano, the Tabacon Hot Springs whose waters are heated by the Arenal Volcano, a Canopy Tour, a trip down the Bebedero River and an excursion into the Palo Verde National Park. Included are two nights lodging at the Eco-Lodge at Lago Cotter, all meals, transportation and park entrance fees.                          

Day 7/ Continue enjoying the natural beauty of the Arenal area and the cloud forests in which it abounds.                                  

Day 8/ Return by van to San Jose via Sarchi (the home of many of the country’s artisans - you can explore the shops), staying tonight at the Hotel Grano de Oro or similar hotel (dinner not included).

Day 9/ Van transfer to the airport for your flight home
