When to call 

The purpose of the toll free number is to finalize and confirm reservations made through Costa Rica's Travel WEB. If you are just beginning to plan your vacation to Costa Rica, please contact our travel consultants via E-mail at travel@informatica.co.cr or fill out our Design Your Own Vacation form. 

For general information on National Parks and tourism in Costa Rica, you may call the Costa Rican Ministry of Tourism (ICT) toll free at 1-800-343-6332. However, the ICT does not handle reservations or travel arrangements. 

What to have ready 

Because this is an international toll free call, we ask that you help us keep it to a reasonable length by having the following information ready before you dial: 

• The name of the travel consultant with whom you have been working 
• Your planned itinerary, including dates and destinations 
• The number of people in your party and ages of any children 
• A list of any questions you would like to ask our travel consultants. 
• Your E-mail address and fax number 

To begin processing your reservation we can take your credit card information over the phone. However we also ask that you fill out, print and fax our Credit Card Authorization Form to the toll-free number below (you will need to request a fax tone.) Our services are provided to you free of charge, through wholesale agreements between Costa Rica's Travel WEB and local hotels and tour operators. 

Time zones 

The toll free number is monitored from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday. We are at GMT minus six hours. Being a tropical paradise, we have no Daylight Savings Time!
